Actually the red meat you can see on the BBQ is kangaroo (and there was some chicken drumsticks, lamb ribs and corn in the husk on there too). We think nothing of eating the national emblems! But there was crocodile as well; a white meat with a gamy quali...

... what sort of heat these acrylic / hesalite lenses can take before they craze or melt. But no, I didn't leave my arem in the heat for too long. BBQ was great. Marinated medium-rare kangaroo is always an underappreciated treat. Andrew
