Rolex Ref. 116509 White Gold Cosmograph Daytona Oyster Perpetual, Superlative Chronometer, Officially Certified Cosmograph Daytona. Case No. V******. Made circa 2010, sold in July 2010.
Fine and unusual, self-winding, water-resistant 18k white gold wristwatch with chronograph, 60 minute and 12 hour registers, base 400 tachometer scale, on an 18k white gold Rolex Oyster bracelet with OysterLock clasp. Accompanied by the original Rolex presentation box, instruction booklets, hang tag, Rolex seal and stamped guarantee.
Case. Three-piece Oyster, polished finish, screw-down case back, chronograph buttons and Oyster Triplock crown, bezel calibrated to 400 units per hour with continuous scale from 100-60 range (only found on the gold version), sapphire crystal.
Dial. Slate-grey with applied white gold luminescent Arabic numerals and lower quarter indexes, outer minute scale, subsidiary dials for running seconds, 60 minute and 12 hour chronograph registers, luminescent baton hands, central chronograph seconds hand.
Movement. Cal.4130, automatic, rhodium plated, 44 jewels, shock-protected monometallic balance with microstella regulation screws adjusted to 5 positions and temperatures, hacking seconds.
Diameter 40mm, thickness 13mm, inner diameter with bracelet approx 200mm.
Condition. Movement is running accurately and chronograph functions correctly, case/bracelet were recently polished and have no scratches, slight wear to the upper tachometer scale on bezel hence price.
