the Rolex 618 w/ 15 jewels had no shock protection, and the 17 jewel variant had Incabloc shock protection.  be aware that this knowledge comes from Asi, hence my apologies to him.  smile

Doesn't the vintage uses Rolex?

3646 cases were fitted with Rolex cal. 618 (15 jewels or 17 jewels with Incabloc) or with the Angelus cal. 240 (perhaps controversial but I have seen at least 3 examples of this rare bird). There is a theoretical possibility that a Unitas pocket watch mov...

Hi Asi, Recently, i have been reading and doing a bit of research on the 3646. I remember seeing majority of the 618 fitted by Panerai came without shock-protection (I compared the vintage picture with AT's PAM21) or is my eye-sight giving up on me..=p Pl...
