my interest in the watch lies primarily as a collector.
i like to pick up neat and somewhat unique pieces either from mechanical design or style point.
the annual calendar appears to me to be  just that...silicone balance set up, annual calendar etc make it a very interesting time piece for me.

the production of this watch also appears to me in many ways to parallel the "re-making" of the brand in a very positive way and in some ways, the parallel of what Panerai did with their 233 production. In house movement, robust and accurate in a very elegant case.
i am expecting to get mine early next week
thanks

. . . is a top-drawer complicated tool watch, Alex. The accuracy and precision of the sample Omega lent me was outstanding, and the instantaneous change at the end of the month is the icing on the cake. If you like the aesthetics . . . . . . and can handl...

I have the same model that Art reviewed last autumn, if you can handle the new ProProf the Aqua Terra Annual Calendar should not come as a problem, but depends what you're looking for to complement the ProProf or what occasions you would wear your next Om...

. . . Ploprof, while substantially larger than the AT ac, is easier to tolerate on an aesthetic level. Not entirely sure why, but the asymmetrical shape and turret-like construction are probably the main contributors. Please share a photo or two with us w...

Forgive me for being direct...

...but the base Aqua Terra model would do for me. I have no use for the annual calendar function so I would rather save the difference and credit it towards the next purchase. Ruckdee

Sorry I didn't see your second post about collectability.

The Annual Calendar should serve your purpose better then. Ruckdee
