Plo Prof Running Extremely Fast

Dec 27, 2009,18:04 PM

Hello all
i have a 5to 7 month old plo prof with cal 8500 movement and have enjoyed the watch. I ran about 2sec fast per day.
Over the weekend, I began to pick up time in a most extreme way. It is picking up an hour per day from sat to sun
Nothing unusual...has not been dropped or extremely handled. The only thing out of the ordinary was the fact that I spent 30min in a  spa sauna that is electrically powered. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated
Thanks

I concur . . .

. . . the first remedy is to have it demagnetized, and take it from there. I've got the same problem now with one of my watches, and will be having it demagnetized to rule out the possibility before sending it off for what might be an expensive cure . . ....

New watch running out of whack would P me off!

Sorry guys, I would be totally bent - over dropping that kind of coin and getting a lemon... hey that's what the warranty is for, heck I'd try and take it to the AD and have them deal with the problem and either provide an instant replacment, or cash... E...
