Audemars Piguet: Royal Oak Jumbo: Yellow gold and green dial, ref 15205

I saw it a few minutes ago and it looks fantastic. I couldn't find any photo and information about it. Does anybody know something? This message has been edited by Polemic on 2015-06-28 16:44:59

Rolex: AFAIK,

Sub and Explorer 2 has different case backs and crowns. Sub has Triplock crown and thicker case back and these make the WR difference. Cal. 3186 (GMT Master 2) and Cal. 3187 (Explorer 2) are similar. The differences are (AFAIK again) 1. Cal. 3187 has bigger base plate, 2. Cal. 3186 has KIF anti shoc

Rolex: AFAIK,

Submariner has better resale value and none of them is collectible.

Patek Philippe: As written above,

these watches are different, IMHO. I think Datograph's biggest opponent is Patek 5170. If the question was 5170 vs Dato, I'd definitely go for 5170. 5960 is very nice and useful for daily wear. Hard question, but you can't go wrong any of them.

Audemars Piguet: I have never liked

the Nautilus. I know it's very important watch and there are so much Nautilus lovers but the design is not my cup of tea. I'd take 15202 instead of 15400 and 26320. In these alternatives, I never liked the 5712. 5711 is cool and iconic, 5980 is unique but I can't define 5712. It has a very unbalance

Vacheron Constantin: 1921 because,

It's unique and I have never liked 5617. If the question was 5711-15202 or 1921, my answer would be different.

Patek Philippe: Apertures vs subdials

I always prefer apertures instead of subdials on an annual or a perpetual calendar watch. Apertures makes dial less busy (I don't like busy dials) and easy to read, IMHO.

Officine Panerai: Agreed

372 and 399 are true Panerai's for me.
