This was the only "sport" model that JLC did as part of the 250pc platinum series. I still stand by what I wrote in earlier posts: just as Patek has Aquanaut and Nautilus, JLC could do well with Polaris and Compressor. One has exceptionally gorgeous dials (Polaris) while the other has true "beater"
with different color schemes. A Polaris "Geographic World" (as it's layed out) is SUCH a great complication and the new version just looks a little "wonky" IMO. This is a true "business beater." -Dean
so if you want good service, they will be the only way to go. Part of the reason is that they both save tools to ensure future servicing. If you want the best, you let the best take care of their products and not some watchmaker that has never worked on such a complication. -Dean
