I know it is a bit late, but I learned a while ago to not bid for watches on Ebay unless I am first acquainted with the seller. Sometimes the "bargain" seems tempting but there is little to protect a buyer from a fraudulent seller and even less recourse for the victim. I will go so far to say that even some well-known internet sellers routinely pass off used watches as "new". I prefer now to pay a little more and buy from authorized dealers. The peace of mind is worth it, to this buyer, at least.

I am not sure they made the 5024 in Rose. It is not on their price list or in their catalogues.
Don't buy from EBay!
I think the real lesson here is to think twice about buying anything more than $10 from EBay. EBay is great for the $10 item you can't find anywhere, but not for watches. If you look carefully, most of the main "sellers" of watches on EBay NEVER complete ...
