Advice needed - GMT II or Seadweller

Sep 01, 2009,20:54 PM

dear all, i am a recent member on this forum and I have a question I would like to see more insights from you all.

I am planning to purchase another Rolex to form my trio in the collection.  currently I have SS Subdate, and Explorer I, which for me represents the marine and mountain them for Rolex collection. GMT II as the Aviation model has been on my mind, pepsi dial appeals to me andthe 2 time zone is something usefyl for my daily work;  but then only recently I found out that the Sea Dweller 16600 has been discontinued since the launch of DSSD, which in itself is a great model for Any Rolex collection.

I like both watches, the price is almost comparable here where I find them, but i can only afford one.

just wanted to here what you guys things, which one or how to compare......

thanks!

Don't think " Collectability " when you'll take your final decision.

Triple 6. This is the best of both Vintage and Modern worlds! Vintage: The big round painted indexes + the matt dial, and a lovely patina. Modern: The flat sapphire dial, which will allow you to use this watch like a toolwatch. Here's a pic I took during ...
