You guys may have changed my mind on this decision. I was leaning toward the blue but your photos and ideas about the singularity of the grained grey dial is appealing to me. I have the black and blue gmt II and some other blue oriented dials and have always favored blue but the idea of somehing very different in the grained grey dial only found on the yachmaster 1 is definietely appealing. I will go to the AD and try them both on and see which one speaks to me the most at that time.
Thanks again for your input and the photo Nicholas with your sweater was very nice indeed.

i'e been trying to decide myself, between grey or blue, but now i find myself looking at the yellow gold/stainless with white dial and black markers as well....it's getting any easier...:)
