A provocative title, for a huge revelation, and a very interesting watch. Yes, I am not a fan of colored gold watches, but you know, here, at PuristSPro, we have many evils as friends, who are always willing to widen your horizons, and feed your appetite....

Very true

Nicolas - thank you for sharing. I had a similar experience with gold. But in life you learn, try, learn some more and then realise that what you once thought unacceptable and not fitting with your style, values and perception actually fits quite well if ...

Bill is the champion of surprise. And he knows how to wear this one.

This is something I noticed quite frequently in watch collecting. The colored gold Rolexes reminded me of 80's styling for a long while but I've been looking with more appeal to two-tone or full gold Submariners and GMTs lately. Another proof that taste c...

I am shocked

Gold... and full gold moreover ! You ! :) GMT in Gold is super cool, especially that brown/bordeaux one. Same for the 1680 in Gold, it is as extreme as it is cool imho. Special pieces, a Gold GMT simply make sense for your love of GMTs. For the full Gold,...

Hi, Francois...

Yes, maybe it is due to the fact that GMT Masters are among my fav watches, maybe because I started this hobby with a GMT Master... But honestly, I couldn't expect such a positive reaction, once on my wrist... I was thinking that it was maybe time for me ...

Very kind review my dear Nicolas

Expanding your horizon is forward momentum and positive growth! The more I study GMTs, the more I prefer the original GMT, and this example is truly amazing, the 'Concord hands' from what I have come to learn, but also too, for me, the round gold indexes ...

The devil is in the details...

... I know that you are not fond of colored gold watches Nicolas, but I was sure that some special one would came some day to make you change that. And believe me: I suspected that a gold 6542 or 1675 would be the one to make the miracle! I like gold GMT ...

Once I will digest my surprise, thenn after a visit at my psychiatre, just to be sure...

Saw one in the flesh in the recent auctions in NY and it really was phenomenal. The hands are so different from other GMT hands. I wonder how many were made?

The GMT Concorde is a very special watch.

 By: arluha : July 21st, 2015-18:17
Nicolas, The GMT Concorde is quite rare and was only made for about a year. When I first saw Bill's watch It was spectacular and one day I would love to own this model. Well, time came and Bill had great knowledge, he was very resourceful and helped expla...

Another from 1968. I am curious to see if we'll find some from 1967 or 1969. Best, Nicolas

We have serial range for the Rolex gmt Concorde

 By: Bill : July 26th, 2015-02:36
