I do have a strong attraction to the Sea-Dweller. This one is not so hard to find....but to find one with such patina, well that is another matter. I waited for 2 years for this one and then it popped up in New York......I had to have it....and now it is ...

This type of dark patina is generally found on watches that had been stashed away in drawers or safes. And in humid environments. Hong kong seems to be a place where both humidity and storing watches in safes occur and there is a huge rolex heritage. It w... 

But I do know what you mean about this type of patina and the HK/humidity effect. To be honest, i am a sucker for patina like this.....i see it on a watch and find myself wanting whatever reference it is on.....dangerous.
