Bill, the 6536/1 has a thinner case more similar to 6204/6205 first Submariner. cheers, chris

A case variation can answer a few hypothesis.

Seems some discussion on dial size and crystal used can be explained by the case variation. But the case variation can also be explained by hand finishing variations which can be in or out of the house. Different dial suppliers can explain variations also...

Nicolas as far was I was aware all 6536 are red depth and much rarer than the 6536-1 which is an already rare reference. The watch you show is presumably a 6536-1. I love the 6536-1 as you know- I have two of them only seperated by 100 case Nrs. Both with...
