Dressing the 6542.

Ok, the natural combination is hard to beat, to say the truth: The bracelet goes very well with its neutral look, and even better when the watch is that colorful, with its red, blue and sometimes brown accents. But what would be life without risks? So I p...

I can get used to Nato combo with gmts especially.....

The conservative look with a big logo bracelet. Bill ...

The Devil, and you, Bill, is in the details. ;) Great!

I agree with you that the bracelet is hard to beat, on the 6542. And this Big Logo is a cherry on the cake that only the Vintage Role Fans can really and fully appreciate. DAMN! Best, Nicolas.

Unbeatable and perfect combo!

.....the nature of the dial and bezel make sit really hard to match this watch with a Nato...i agree that the brown is the best of the pick, but I suspect the bracelet is a long way ahead.

Indeed. Too many colors is not good.

But the leather Nato is quite cool with the dial... Best, Nicolas.

Brown leather

nato strap is a very nice combination, probably the nicest. I use one of them in my white 1680 and it looks terrific. I agree with you, GMT's are hard to combine with leather straps or nato colours. What I realized, after viewing your splendid photographs...

Your right, the brown Nato is superb, but I actually also..

 By: DivingT : April 15th, 2014-22:33
..also like the blue / red stripe! it sets off the bezel, or helps to highlight it even more!! Great set of photos. Cheers Tony

The Blue Red seemed to be logical for the 6542... But I got tired of it quite quickly.

.. why not for our/your bunch of NATOs ? - The last one, you chose is a "Natural" choice, a winner with enough extravaganza, but still a great match to the watch.. HOWEVER: I really like a lot the leather (middle ) one, as a nice surprise and different, n...

works very well with your 6542. I am not sure the steel bracelet is the best option? Not at all in fact. On a big crown sub perhaps and on a gilt, black laquer dial perhaps but not on your 6542. I am in the Nato camp on this one...! E
