I can feel it coming in the air tonight....Rolex Sea-Dweller 16660

I do have a strong attraction to the Sea-Dweller.  This one is not so hard to find....but to find one with such patina, well that is another matter. I waited for 2 years for this one and then it popped up in New York......I had to have it....and now it is one of my favourite watches....


Some watches wear better in the darker winter months....this is one that gets a lot more wrist time during the winter. Not sure why...maybe its heft....maybe its darker nature. One thing for sure, I am heading to the vault this week in search of it.

But I do know what you mean about this type of patina and the HK/humidity effect. To be honest, i am a sucker for patina like this.....i see it on a watch and find myself wanting whatever reference it is on.....dangerous.

I can think of a few military 1665s for sure....uhm .... my Rolex love is the 1665....above all....PNs, BCs.......nothing tops a 1665
