Genuine Rolex Bracelet?
Dec 18, 2014,02:23 AM
I posted recently about an 18kt gold Rolex with date on a President bracelet, which needed some links added.
My local Rolex dealer in Colchester UK has now advised me that ( a ) this particular model was only issued with the Jubilee or
Oyster bracelet , and (b) that although the President bracelet is 18kt gold, and has the Rolex clasp, it has no reference number and is
therefore not a genuine Rolex bracelet. Which means (c) that Rolex will not supply the links need to lengthen the bracelet.
Is there any way I can trace the manufacturer of the bracelet which has no markings except the hallmarks? I have issues about using
the bracelet if it is not genuine Rolex, but would like to keep the watch as it was given to me by a very old friend
