She liked the new Day Date with coincidental new 70h power reserve, 0.2 - 2.0 sec/day precision movement. She liked the new gents Yachtmaster that did NOT have the new movement unlike the ladies model that DID. On balance, looks triumphed over engineering...

I can't understand why Rolex did NOT extend the OysterFlex bracelet to fill in completely to the case! When I first saw this piece I was about to call my AD and put in an order, but then I noticed the way the bracelet is attached to the watch and reconsid... 

Interesting. You would have preferred the strap to " spouse " the case?

I don't really see myself buying a modern Rolex, but I have to admit, this one is tempting. I love the overall look. I would have to find something other than the rubber strap. Maybe a black nylon or carbon fiber strap. Rolex did a great job with this one...
