In theory...NOT on this forum

In the old days, they were discussed interchangeably as Tudor used older versions of Rolex movements (usually 1 generation back from contemporary Rolexes).

Then, Tudor started using 3rd party movements (ETA) and the brands distanced themselves in public.
Tudor stopped selling its branded watches in the USA between 2004 and 2013; only returning in mid-2013.

Now, Tudor is a Manufacture with one new movement and has been promoting its own patrimony with re-editions and acquiring vintage timepieces from past great Expeditions and Adventurers. Officially, it is establishing its own identity away from Rolex.
That is why we find their Baselworld 2015 report in the general HOrological MEandering forum.

Privately, Rolex and Tudor share a secret passage way between their exhibiting booths at Baselworld......

Regards,
MTF
