Triple 6, better pics and impressions

Since quite a week, now, I'm totally in love with this stunning Rolex. Deep Sea? What for?

Posted the same thread in Horological Meandering but wanted to hear Rolie fans' reaction, just in case you miss it there. No intention to offend anybody. This question has been bothering me for a while. Most divers today (at least the ones I know - I am a scuba diver myself) do not wear dive watches to go diving these days. Just got my 1st Rolex today....

Ciao everyone! This is my 1st post here, because today i just became the new & proud owner of my very 1st Rolex! The piece which i got is the Sea-Dweller Deepsea from this year's Baselworld! 42mm Rollie?

Greetings all: I usually hang out in the Panerai forum, but I had a DateJust President years ago.  I parted with it because I decided it was too small (36mm, I think) and because it was unacceptably inaccurate. Since then, I have become accustomed to larger watches (42-46mm).  But recently I have been considering giving Rolex another shot.  However, I can't find anything larger than 40mm.  Does Rolex make any model that is at least 42mm? To end a very hectic week for me, i unexpectedly got a Military Big Crown A/ 6538 ;- )

Let me introduce you my new catch

Well, I hunted this one so badly during these 4 last years that I'm very excited to have found this nice model ...A SD 16 660, in a very nice condition, complete, and with a superb patina.I took some quick pics, will take some better, and will make a full post about this marvel.My first impressions are excellent.The watch is more comfortable to wear than I thought.The proportions are interesting, not too thick, even if quite big, compared to a Sub.And always a big and impressive feeling of high quality watc...

Cleaning your WG daytona

Yesterday, was a nice day to relax at home, so I decided to clean all my watches.My WG daytona was one of them, I clean it using a soapy water and brush it with tooth brush.After i was done cleaning, i saw some scratches that i've never seen before.Can a toothbrush scratch a WG surface?Or it is a scratches that I probably never notice before? ...
