The dial is made of  Gibeon meteorite that  fell to earth; some speculate it was about 12,000 years ago, was discovered in a vast african desert close to Gibeon, Namibia in the early 1800's. the total fall was approximately 150 tons. Today, the known Gibeon Meteorites that have remained in Namibia are displayed in the Post Street Mall (picture) and at the museum of the Geological Survey of Namibia in Windhoek, nowadays are protected by law in Namibia

Many watches have visited the space, one has been in the moon, but with this, you take a chunk of the space in your wrist.

And you are not helping me, as I love so much this Meteorite White Gold Dayto that I even considered trade my SS Dayto to fund this Meteorite.

I'm fascinated by this dial, less by the strap, but I believe I can solve this small problem.

Your pics are beautiful, Javi, one of the nicest you ever posted, my friend...

Aaah this dial coming from the space...

Best.

Nicolas

I think that it´s my first post in this forum Rolex....

I have not been very follower of the mark, but lately I look at them.

However, this model has called me a lot of attention. It's beautiful, imposing, impressive ... really amazing.

Enhorabuena Javier, a disfrutarlo con salud.

Best.

Emilio.

Nice to see you around

By: sirjun (registered) Sunday, October 19th, 2008

hello
i absolutely love the leather band that comes with this watch
is it possible to find something that has the same style or look for my submariner or ss daytona

also i was wondering if there is a rubber piece that can be found...
for some reason as i get older i shy away from metal bracelets

many thanks in advance
