Hey guys! It's been a LOOONG time! How are you all doing??? I hope everybody's fine and safe. See if you can help me. As some of you may remember, I own a JLC RDM. The watch has never been serviced, so it’s not like that what I show below could have been ...
My best guess is that over time...

one of the seals has failed and some oxidation may have affected the hand. I would send it to JLC and see what they say. -Dean

Corrosion

No necessarily seal leak but moisture in watch or during manufacturing of the hands. It’s happened to my Glashutte Original too. No warranty on it either. Cazalea

As the watch is 13 1/2 years old I'd think the effect of moisture during manufacturing or assembly showing so long after is less probable. Or not?
My watch was about 10 years old

When this picture was taken, but the corrosion first appeared, looking like a tiny speck of lint when it was about 5 years old. It had never been opened or serviced either.
