Just tried it on, something to think about!

First time seeing this gorgeous 300 Heritage in the metal. And trying it on. WOW! What a watch. Blue, no date, lovely vintage vibes, on bracelet. It has a lot going for it, and checks the boxes. My wrist is 6.5 inches so my first reservation was the 41 mm case size. No worries there, lug to lug actually looked good on my wrist. (L2L actually wore very similar to 40 mm Sub for me). Second, and without a doubt, my biggest reservation is case thickness. Which, depending on which review you read is approx 14 mm. I’m giving this one a hard look. But the reason I sold my 2500 Planet Ocean was because it was just too thick for my preference. 12 / 12.5 mm  case thickness of BB58 and Sub are perfect, which is why they are mainstays in my rotation. AMAZING Seamaster, just wish it was 2 mm thinner! Something to think about… Thanks for reading!

If not for my Spectre and other Divers, I will definitely add one. ...

Looking good!

I especially like the Bond 60th! Most of the time I gravitate towards divers , so can never have too many 😂

I think I have enough desk divers…😅

I live with the case thickness since it’s got so many other positive attributes…

Agreed! I had the black dial version along with the blue dial, sold the black dial since I was wearing the blue so much, it's a gorgeous watch!!

Drhr! Hope all is well my friend!

It really is spectacular. Since I have the black dial Sub, of course it has to be the blue colorway of the SM 300 😉

It's always the same problem with Omega

That damn thickness!

Same with my 8500 Aqua Terra

38.5 mm… But since it does everything else so well, I forgave the extra thickness

Same with seamaster and speedmaster

I love Omega regardless

Upon further investigation..

2500 PO Seamaster 14.5 mm Rolex SD 17.7 mm Submariner 13 mm

I have the 2500 PO..

It’s not that thick by my reckoning🤔🤨

Seeing it in person

 By: Aquaracer1 : February 15th, 2023-01:25
The dial is next level, and really is executed perfectly in my opinion. Sandwich style, with ecru colored lume and minimal text . That’s just my game! Maybe I can forgive the thickness after all… Time will tell!

Not sold on the dial

I would prefer polished indices for every hour for low light visibility, even if that's what the PO is for but then again, thickness...

Good counterpoint

 By: Aquaracer1 : February 15th, 2023-03:18
I can see this dial being less legible than others in lower light situations

Same as you

I really like this model, but it is unnecessarily thick. 13mm is the maximum thickness I would consider.
