so is there a triangle shaped metal part inside. That on is mounted with a axle at the center and turn around inside like a rotor on a automatic movement. Then you read the markers inside the tool when you adjust, one marker is one second. So the oil help so the "rotor" will be stable when you adjust.

Then I try to get all four screws at the same height to avoid imbalance. There is some adjusting before you reach a good result.
