The Rolex Tudor 7021/0 was introduced around 1968 as a replacement to the 7928. This coincides wilt the beginning of the rolex 1680. Tudor the time started to use the ETA movement a workhorse that has stood the test of time. At the same ( as noted by Nico...

But are you sure the 7021 replaced the 7924? I always thought it was the 7016... Best, Bill. Nicolas.

It replaced the 7928 not 7924

As the 7021/0 started around 1968. Bill

Same year for the 7016... And as it is a no date ( 7016 )...

I thought the 7016 was the successor of the 7928... So, the same year, Tudor released a no date and a date Sub, obviously. Best, Bill. Nicolas

Pretty close I would say

Around 1967 to 1968. I am making the assumption based on seeing some overlap. Curiously there seems to be some very easy swiss only vs t swiss t versions of the 7016/0 with two line shield snow flake. I also have what appears to be a transition 4 line wit...

Yes the order is 7016 followed by 7021

I think the 7021/0 was the answer to the 1680. Bill

Congrats on your 9000th post. Tudors are quite nice, saw them...
