A superb photo of a Rolex 1655 Rail Dial.

I found it on a dealer's web page, Watch my Watch, to name it.
This is indeed a quite rare dial configuration, with the aligned wording, which was in production circa 1974 and 1975, as far as I know.
Rail dials can also be seen with the Ref 1665 and 16550.
The Devil is in th détails, and here, this detail makes a beautiful difference.

Nice rail dials you all have there. I have a 1655 as well, but its a Mk II. Shortly after I bought it, I found a rail dial available for sale. I have been thinking if I should sell off my current Mk II and get the rail dial instead. Just a quick question,...
