Some one who thinks like me. I too don't care for the modern heavy watches. Once you discover vintage- you leave the modern ones behind.
Its really the same with cars. Although having said that I do like one modern watch. Its not a Rolex though but Patek

i have the modern GMT with the green GMT hand and I absolutely love it! My only pet peeve, if you can call it that, is the polished central link of the bracelet. I agree with you that the current design of the bracelet is awesome..
