Dressing the 6542.

Ok, the natural combination is hard to beat, to say the truth:
The bracelet goes very well with its neutral look, and even better when the watch is that colorful, with its red, blue and sometimes brown accents.
But what would be life without risks?
So I played with my bag of straps, like women do with their handbags, and tried to find the cool combination.
A partial view on the famous bag of straps, or should I say the Nato Drawer:
This one is a bit too complicated for the 6542... The 2 color Nylon is adding too much complexity, to say it better, even if it quite matches with the bezel.
There aren't thousands of Natos which can go with the 6542...
A black one is perfect, when the dial is black.
And when the dial is brown the best I found are these 2.
The big surprise is this leather Nato...I was not sure, before trying it, but it enhances the natural vintage look of the 6542 in a very pleasant way:
Now, my absolute favourtie remains this high quality brown NATO: ( I still have to find the source to get them, by the way )
These Nato come in beige / sand, brown or black, so they go with almost all our watches.
But this brown one almost matches with the dial, and is not contrasting too much with the bezel.
A killer combo, which provides a good alternative to the classic and unavoidable Oyster Bracelet.
One last advice: Don't show this post to your better half, or she will laugh at you, as we laugh at them with their bag and shoes...
If you have other suggestions, please share them!
Best.
