Hello again dear Purists!

Oct 08, 2014,21:27 PM

Hello dear friends. First, let me elaborate a little.

Like most of the people writing here, I just LOVE rolex sport watches. I've got the virus, the bug, the itch. I dream about having a nice sub/seadweller with a very round superdome to love and caress. I stopped posting comments here, because I started to feel obsessed about how to get a vintage rolex. My grief for a rolex started to bother me, so I tryed to detox by just stopping writing here.

Between getting married, setting a home, saving for my wife's car and now waiting a baby, I saw my dream drift away and away...

So obsessed was I, that I forgot all the nice watches I had, and stopped enjoying them!!!

But I never really stopped reading all your great posts here, and absorb all the knowledge I could, along with the gorgeous images and filling my hard drive with them smile))

I always kept in contact with a very good friend and member of this forum: AlexSunrise. The endless late night conversations with him helped me to rediscovered the joy of having really nice watches.

I strarted to think: It's only a matter of time, goals, saving and focusing on the real important things in life and dreams. And never letting go your dreams.

So after this little dissertation, let me share with you the "only" rolex I have (not really a rolex, but a sibling).

Oh! and let me tell you that one outcome of my rolex "annoyance", is that I started to make my own straps. Please, don't be so hard on them wink

It feels so good to write again here, to share with this wonderful community!

Greetings to all of you friends. So let's start!

By the way, if someone wants to trade this little beauty and a lifetime of handmade straps for a 1665 white, 5513 gilt or 7928 chapter ring, I'll think about it wink

Thanks for reading!

René
