.....the Rolex GMT is dominated by two colours black and blue. It is true that Batman used to wear a lycro skintight suit coloured with black and blue. Some would say that he wore his underpants on the outside of his trousers. Some would argue that this is a good name for the GMT....on the other hand, if you prefer to get that image of a fully-grown man in a pair of tights (who's best friend is another bloke wearing tights, called Robin) out of your head, one can consider the alternative nickname for the GMT....the "Bruiser".
The Urban Dictionary defines the word "Bruiser" as follows;
Someone who's tough and doesn't get taken down easily,
someone who has a history of being in fights and winning.
or
Someone who is masculine, handsome and loved by the ladies.
Coming from the expression for a bruise as "Black and Blue", the name Bruiser has emerged as a potentially more attractive name for a Rolex watch that has been built to be both tough and attractive (and with no need to wear lycra tights).
