Why are some of us strangely attracted to vintage watches and especially vintage Rolex ? Maybe because we know that in the early days, these toolwatches were only worn by professionals in the kind of extreme situations that these watches were designed for...

Some of the vintage pieces are so beautiful because they don't show their age and look almost look new. Then there are these watches with "tropical" dials and patina that are wonderful for the opposite reason---they show their age and take on a whole new ...

They sure don't make them like they used to. I much prefer the vintage Rolexes to the modern ones. True beauties with so much character and charm. Thanks for sharing. Well done!

Woul be nice just be able see at least one of them watches in real life. These watches must have had been seeing sunlight almost everyday. The UV rays can do a lot of damages on certain colors paint. It is amazing to see. Great post. Totally enjoyed it.
