Another reason why I can’t wear vintage is bc I manage to break modern movements/watches (including master chronometers from omega, and rugged modern Rolexes and Sinn’s), so I can only imagine the costs I’ll incur needing to repair vintage watches.

Not that much, in terms of prices. These vintage Rolex movements are hyper robust, and need to be serviced only each 15 years!

My daily wearing has broken modern Rolex, omega, AP, and Sinn movements within 1-3 years of purchase from AD. And it’s not like I’m a jackhammer operator…
