This is the watch that I always want to get but never end up getting. Worse still is I end up with another watch. Last time I try I end up with my 2nd Panerai. Now I see your picture. I want to get it again. Let see what happen. Regards Tyler
I think the Yachtmaster is one of the best looking Rolex designs. Heard it was meant to be the new Submariner when developed. Also heard it might be discontinued.
But when? The first YM came in 1992, if I remember it correctly. And the platinum version some 5 or 7 years after... So yes, one day it will disappear from the catalog, and like many artists, its time of glory will come... Once dead. Best, Nicolas
I got this for my wife last year and toyed with getting teh gents size for myself. Somehow I fund tthe smaller proportions of the lady's version lends itself better to this watch... maybe I need to put it in the wrist again.
Those who own it are big fans. The others have to discover it, and, as for any other great watch, the more you live with it, them ore youb appreciate it. One of my very favourite modern Rolex, definitely. Best, Ross, and thanks for your input. Nicolas Thi...
this watch has staying power when launched it was realy the poor relation to the the 4 giants, sub, seadweller, gmt and the explorerer but its still around holding its own little slot great picture i would be proud to own one.
One for a Captain, a Commander.... A toolwatch which has a lot of style. Funnily, it was quite impossible to get one, from 1999 to 2002. After, it was much easier. But it was also the case for most of the professional Rolexes. If your road crosses the Yac...
Hi, Nico, The YM has lately been growing and growing on me, and with pictures like yours, the interest just gets higher! Enjoy your Sunday, hermano! Un abrazo fuerte, Alejandro
its been described as many things.... a fake sub for instance... but actually...it represents Rolex, in so many ways for the modern 00's era back in the 50's and 60's the old tool watches had a role to play, but lets face it in todays world of technology,...
..I was wondering where your Sunday picture would be this weekend! (just found this, I had convinced myself it would pop on the JLC page!!) cheers Tony
Rolex took one of it's timeless designs and gave it an elegant touch with that bezel and dial color. The red seconds hand only emphasizes the sporting nature of this watch. Lovely watch. You keep coming more and more from your hat!!!! Best my friend. René...
It dynamizes the dial, it gives it life, and adds a lot of charm. A watch to fall in love with, but an old one, as it is in my collection for quite a long time, if you consider that I bought it in 2001, sold it in 2005 and rebought it a few years later......
wore mine today to the office after not wearing for a long time . . ..and smiled at my wrist several times wondering why I don't wear it more often. It's one that doesn't get enough love from some . . ..but once you wear it you understand. Great photo!
