Finally, they did it! 


39 mm case: Good. Vintage accents with the gilt bezel and dial: Good. Case  thickness: 12, 8 mm. Better than the 14, 6 mm of the 41 mm version.

I am probably going to wait for a different color variation though, I don't love the gilt accents.

I know that some of us are not mad about the gilt accents, indeed. But it is most probably justified here by the fact that it is the more " vintage " version.
