Omega: Latest update

Watch received back from Omega after being away for 10 weeks. Now works OK as far as the power reserve is concerned. I've sent a letter to Omega asking if they think the fault was acceptable on a new watch and suggesting that they get approved dealers to at least check that automatic watches work to

Omega: Status update

Just talked to the dealer. I posted the watch back to them and they received it on 12th May. Just spoke to them this morning. They think it's been sent on to Omega but couldn't confirm it at the moment?! They advised me that as its a warranty repair they do not expect to get a report from Omega, (wh

I've just come across them and like the look of their True-Moon watch but as information on it and the compa

Rolex: I wouldn't wear an expensive watch in that environment

I saw your note and thought I would pass on a recent experience which is in a way related. A couple of weeks ago I was on holiday in Cyprus and went to a water park. I spent the day with the kids going on the water rides including the high slides . After a couple of hours of doing this I was climbin

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Service Experience

Would anyone be willing to pass on their experience of having their Jaeger Le-Coultre serviced by the factory? I would like to know generally how well it went, how satisfied were you with the work, (if such comments are allowed on this site), and and most importantly how long was it before you got y

Horological Meandering: Serial numbers

I've noticed that when photographs of the backs of watches are posted on this and other websites that the serial numbers have aften been removed or hidden in some way. Is there a reason why you shouldn't let other people know the serial number of your watch? Colin
