In general it is

My mother often tells me: timing in life is everything. She is so right.
Take for example my 6205. I saw it on IG. I called the dealer. I met him next week in Lausanne and I knew
when I saw it that I really had to decide right then and then. In that circumstance- it was right to pul the trigger.
But in general- I do think it pays off to be patient. The best Rolex watches in the world will come knocking on my doorstep. I am sure of it.
Its only a matter of time. At these prices unless another 6205 (not the reference itself but the analogy) comes along - I will be patient.
I already can see it happending when the big collectors of the world will wind down their Rolex collections, either due to age or due to
the opportunity cost of money -at 6 or 6% IR rates- people will think twice holding on to their collections- especialy those who are not billionaires.
And I will be ready. I will be there. At the right place and at the right time. Right now, its not the right time.
Best Edmond
ps: If I think in life too the best things came to me while being patient. My old cars. The best investments. The nicest girls. They all resulted in my being able to be patient.
