Thank you for sharing your knowledge on the history on the Submariner. Knowing the roots of the Sub will make it more interesting. It is a coincidence that I am setting my sight on a Sub in a Rolesor. BTW, has Rolex discontinued production of the Sub's anniversary edition?

Hoping for more to come.

The production of the Submariner started in 1953 and the watch was first presented to the public at the Basel Fair in 1954 under reference 6204. (Submariner ref. 6204 Photo: Ed Delgado) It had a bi-directional bezel with no minute markers between 0 and 15...
