is the very earliest iterations the porcelain dial or floating cosmograph as these are designed and manufactured with outstanding one off features that seperates them from every Daytona that succeeds them but has design features eg 200mph bezels that echo the earlier manual Daytonas.................

I don't quite follow some of the vintage community bemoaning of this modern iteration of the red sea dweller............its akin to comparing a 60's Ferrari with today's models. My other watches are all in the safe,at home......this one I haven't had off my wrist since I got it.........it just sits right.

I had a choice between this and the red bezel version and both looked very striking but the black as we see won out.
