Rolex: Great watch....but for me the 16520 to have

is the very earliest iterations the porcelain dial or floating cosmograph as these are designed and manufactured with outstanding one off features that seperates them from every Daytona that succeeds them but has design features eg 200mph bezels that echo the earlier manual Daytonas.................

Rolex: It is of it's time!

I don't quite follow some of the vintage community bemoaning of this modern iteration of the red sea dweller............its akin to comparing a 60's Ferrari with today's models. They may share the same heritage and blood line even come in the same colour but they are not always directly comparable .

Rolex: I've got a black one on order...........but Rolex as always has a trick up its sleeve

all the local dealerships have closed their order books long ago for these watches............guess what Rolex does is give 6 months notice to at least four local dealerships including mine..they are reducing significantly the density in the UK this will be about 10 dealerships in the NW alone that

Rolex: The rivet bracelet really makes these pieces

I had a choice between this and the red bezel version and both looked very striking but the black as we see won out.
