..a Doxa, Seiko, Omega (I have a brand new Seamaster 300), Rolex or Blancpain FF, they're all built like a tank and I personally like my SM because I can take it pretty much anywhere and it runs well.  I like the screw-down crown, Helium release valve (yeah, more of a gimmick but interesting, and I imagine it really works), and the bracelet and clasp, and so easy to read the time, even at night.  So even for 'armchair divers', they serve their purpose, whether 'dressy' tool watch or a thousand feet down.

We all know that most dive watches is mostly for desk diving - and not for real diving. Only a very small fraction of the people owning a gold rolex sub, a GP sub, a PP sub, etc. It could be that people interested in watches and people interest in diving ...
